what i think

Dark strays from the pattern of the previous books in the series. All the other books focused on 1 couple finding each other. The only Cole brother left unmated was Ben, and he was banished from the pack a couple books ago. So, I always wondered if this book would be his return. But, Dark veered from that script and this book is back to Lexi and Austin! I love Lexi and Austin!

Having said that, let me also say that EVERYONE is in the book. I mean EVERYONE. If we have met them in books 1-6, they are back. Basically, war has begun. They are being attacked by rogue northerns who are led by someone with direct ties to the Weston Pack! You will have to read to get that juicy info! Here are a few things I can say: someone goes through a MAJOR change, someone gets pregnant, and we meet some cool new people! Vague enough? Seriously, just read it. You have to have read the previous books before reading this one though. The other books could be stand alones if you really wanted, but that is not an option for One Second.

I am hopeful there will be a spin off series with all the kids. How cool would that be? I am just not ready to let go of the Weston Pack yet.
