Four years ago, I had everything. All it took was the snap of his fingers and he ripped it out from under me.
Betrayed, by my own father.
His enemies want me dead and old allies want me back in their ranks to help take what's owed. And while I’m trying to figure out what I want, there's her. The one I watch from the shadows, afraid to bare myself to her—the real me.
Hard. Cold. Deadly.
She should fear me—Braiden Donohue—but I’m not the only one keeping secrets, and I must discover what she's hiding.
Before it’s too late.
Redemption will be afforded, regrets will be atoned.
Welcome back to Chastity Falls.

what i think

Back to Chastity Falls! Well, sort of. Braiden is out of prison and Briony and her new boyfriend pick him up and take him to Astoria. I still hate Briony. Like, a lot.

Redemption and Regret gives us Braiden’s story. He is fresh out of prison and finds himself back in a mob war. It sounds cliche but prison did change Braiden a bit. He is also now 26 and has grown up a little. He isn’t sure he wants to get in the middle of all the mob mess anymore. Being ‘Braiden Donahue’ isn’t what it used to be. While he is hiding out, he meets and falls for Cara. I really enjoyed her as a character. She is spunky and mouthy but she isn’t so tough its unbelievable (you know the girls I am taking about-the ones who are just TOO tough). Turns out she and Braiden have more in common than they could have imagined. While the love is there between these two, the world around them is pushing them in different directions. Braiden has to decide if he is going to join the war between the families or if he will choose Cara.

Redemption and Regrets was a great ending to Chastity Falls. Honestly, I wish it wasn’t over. I didn’t realize it was until I read the author’s note. But, I think it was a fitting end and while I would have been happier if Briony died, I am satisfied with the way the series closed out. It was not at all what I expected, but perfect at the same time.

And I can’t end this review without saying how much LOVE I have for this cover. I love all the covers for the Chastity Falls series, but Redemption and Regrets is hands down my favorite!
