Wicked Rules continues on where Wicked Beginnings left off, so make sure you read Wicked Beginnings first! Maverick and Lo have a pseudo relationship…but its in limbo. Maverick plays everything close to the vest and Lo ends up feeling confused and not sure where she stands. Lo’s dad has totally moved on with his new life, Maverick has some issues with his dad, plus there is the other Stone, Prince, and Stone-Princes! Its a seriously messed up family.
Like in the previous book, you have a lot of high school kids behaving recklessly because they are spoiled. As an adult, you can see how this could all go terribly wrong for them! So, the story hinges on the high school drama-llama. Can Mav and Lo survive all the trials their relationship will be put through? Will Mav stand up to his dad and do what he wants with his life? Will Mav EVER open up? (seriously-dude is a closed book!)
Wicked Rules is all about high school love and the life changing moments that we all experience as we reach the end of high school. Its angsty and drama filled, but these are typical teenagers! You do get answers to these questions and more, but Cotton will emotionally wring you out before you get them. If you like your romances angsty, dramatic, and full of that lust of first love, Wicked Rules is a great pick!

Thanks for the review, Samantha. This looks like one of those guilty pleasure books with high school kids and all of their drama’s…I have to be in the mood for it but I’m going to put this one my wish list because you never know. It sounds wicked and steamy so I’m always here for that. <3
