I don’t know who needs to hear this but take a day off from being the bigger person. Fuck some shit up.

Those words were said to him by a stranger in the airport. And from that moment on, he’s only had eyes for her.

Too bad they met when she was taking off for three months to parts unknown. Otherwise, Keene Day—yes, that was really his godforsaken name—would’ve tried a little harder to get her info.

Lucky for him, fate takes pity on him.

They meet over and over again in the airport. First in the security line, then at the terminal where they’re both on the same plane. Finally, after a few delayed flights, an emergency landing, and a six-hour road trip, he finally pulls his head out of his ass long enough to get her info.

The Fool is the final book in the Welcome to the Circus series. Honestly,  I wasn’t sure what to expect from Keene. I kind of forgot about him throughout the series. Since it is the final book, I knew to expect some hints as to what would be the next series and I was not disappointed.

Keene and Ande were great! I thought they had good chemistry and there is some great suspense in this one! I didn’t realize Keene was still going on “missions” and had this whole other life. I was also surprised he was so sweet. He is kind of grumpy with his family, so I was expecting more of a grumpy/sunshine vibe, but he really wasn’t like that at all.

Ok, if you read Big Nick Energy, you realize you have met Ande before!! She goes to the circus with her friend, who falls in love instantly with a guy! And now I am excited for the Carter family (Ande’s brothers).
