I got nothing…
I also got a LOT of physical copies in the mail this week! More on those later.
I can’t believe it’s already the end of September. This month has gone by pretty fast. Next week at school is spirit week. That means crazy dress up days. I hated this at the private school because the kids would be out of uniform and our AP would be on us to catch all the issues. So, it will be nice to have a week without that added stress.
My principal came in for a walkthrough and it was literally the WORST possible time. It was a catch up day so some of the kids were finishing work they missed and the rest of the kids had free time. So of course, that is when she came in. Not when I was teaching the whole group but when it looked like a zoo in there! Sigh.
I’m trying to get myself organized a bit at work. Since this position is a shift from my last teaching job, I have having to tweak things as I go. I hate that because I always feel behind the 8 ball, but it is what it is! Hopefully I can get ahead soon and feel back on track.
So, that was my week! Hopefully everyone had a nice week and an enjoyable weekend!
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!
I am sure it wasn’t as bad as you thought, but yeah. they always seem to miss your most brilliant moments. Good luck and I hope spirit week is lots of fun
You got this Samantha!!! And have fun playing dress up!
You can do it! It’s an adjustment but you will. I can’t believe it’s nearly October but I am loving the weather.
Anne – Books of my Heart Here is my Sunday Post
Sounds like you had a busy week! Hope you get settled into your new teaching job soon!
September really has flown by. And of all the times for the principal to visit… ugh! But it probably wasn’t as bad as it looked. I hope this week is going well!
