Busy week! I had class for 10 hours on Monday, 10 hours on Tuesday, and 5 hours on Wednesday. So, that meant I had to take 3 personal days from work. The 3 days of class were suppose to be in person in Spokane, WA, but COVID ruined that. Oh well! It was good to have the first 3 days of school be my only focus because it was a LOT to take in. I have 20 credit hours this quarter and I needed the 3 days to get my head around what I needed to do this quarter. My students are about to be “practice subjects”! I was glad to have lots of hugs when I came back. The kids missed me.
It actually felt like fall a bit this last week and that was exciting! It’s over now as that was false fall and its back to 80 F here. It was a nice couple days.
So, my time now is mostly teaching, lesson planning, university homework, and assessment planning for my practicum. I am hoping to read for fun at some point!
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

Wow! That’s a lot of class hours. More power to you! I hope you enjoy putting it all into action with your students. Our temps are up and down. It’s really nice in the morning though.
Well it may have been busy but that’s a good week. The weather not being 90s is making everything easier.
I am glad to see that you got these hugs Samantha! Also if you are very busy you know what your endgoal is and that’s to have a better worklife. Have a great week!
COVID just ruins so many things right? It just needs to go away already. lol YAY for fall!!! Its the best season of the year.
We are back into the 80s again this week after a few days of fall weather. Ugh. Wow, you are taking a lot of classes while teaching, that is a lot of work! Good luck with that. I see you only gave When Sparks Fly 3 stars, wow! I need to go read your review and see what made you feel that way. Hope you have a good week!
I enjoyed Last Seen Alone. Hope you do too!
We’re in the 80s too, but it’s been cooling off at night. Better than the 90s and 100s we’ve been having! Good luck with your classes.
Wow, that was a lot of hours! Fingers crossed that you can find a good balance moving forward so it’s not too overwhelming. I was about to be jealous of your fall weather but it looks like it faked you out. 🙂
Sounds like a busy but rewarding week!
Wishing you a great reading week
It sounds like you’ll have a lot on your plate for a while, hopefully, you’ll be able to get into a good rhythm so you can find time for yourself to just chill.
