Busy week! I had class for 10 hours on Monday, 10 hours on Tuesday, and 5 hours on Wednesday. So, that meant I had to take 3 personal days from work. The 3 days of class were suppose to be in person in Spokane, WA, but COVID ruined that. Oh well! It was good to have the first 3 days of school be my only focus because it was a LOT to take in. I have 20 credit hours this quarter and I needed the 3 days to get my head around what I needed to do this quarter. My students are about to be “practice subjects”! I was glad to have lots of hugs when I came back. The kids missed me.

It actually felt like fall a bit this last week and that was exciting! It’s over now as that was false fall and its back to 80 F here. It was a nice couple days.

So, my time now is mostly teaching, lesson planning, university homework, and assessment planning for my practicum. I am hoping to read for fun at some point!

So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Wow! That’s a lot of class hours. More power to you! I hope you enjoy putting it all into action with your students. Our temps are up and down. It’s really nice in the morning though.

  2. I am glad to see that you got these hugs Samantha! Also if you are very busy you know what your endgoal is and that’s to have a better worklife. Have a great week!

  3. We are back into the 80s again this week after a few days of fall weather. Ugh. Wow, you are taking a lot of classes while teaching, that is a lot of work! Good luck with that. I see you only gave When Sparks Fly 3 stars, wow! I need to go read your review and see what made you feel that way. Hope you have a good week!
