Touched by Ice continues the Ice Breakers series with Dr. Antonia Rossi. I have liked her from the beginning. She is intelligent and driven. She has her own tragic past, but her and her dog Banshee find the dead. Aiden desperately needs Tony to find his missing brother. He is sure his brother died when they were 17, but despite his enormous wealth he hasn’t been able to solve the mystery.
Aiden is difficult to like at first. He is arrogant and entitled and he thinks he can buy anything and anyone. He is delightfully surprised by how unmoved Tony is by his money. Despite his douche moves to get her to help him, she does agree to help him find his brother’s remains. Aiden’s brother went missing under some strange circumstances, and the small town it happened in still remembers it all. There is no lack of suspects in the town, and Austin, Aiden’s brother, was known to have a few enemies. Tony and Aiden being in town, determined to figure out what happened, leads to several near death experiences that keep the story moving at a quick pace!
Touched by Ice was a really good story, with good characters, a cameo by previous characters, and a steamy romance!
