If you are like me, when you find something you like (trope, genre, plot point) you want more books like it. I try to include an “if you like X, then you’ll like Y” in each of my reviews, but I wanted to give you a few recs.
Today, I’m sharing my PNR recommendation. You will see I have the books listed with an arrow between them to show multi directionality! Maybe you read the 2nd book, so you should add the first book to your TBR! Click on the author name for more info and reviews!
The Bewitched and Bewildered series by Alana Alder ⇔ Welcome to Hell series by Eve Langlais
Both these series are HILARIOUS! If you like to LOL while reading, these are both winners. Also, they are steamy, contain lots of fun characters, and are quick reads.
The Psy-Changeling Series by Nalini Singh ⇔ The Carpathian series by Christine Feehan
Both these series are long. Both have really detailed worlds you can lose yourself in. Each book focuses on a different couple, but the previous couples are often seen and there are some story arcs that will carry. These both feature more fated mates tropes which is a big favorite of mine.
The Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward ⇔ Phenomenal Fate series by Tessa Bailey
Both these feature vampires and both are on the steamier side. Both have a “group” working together and I love that bond. Bailey’s books have a little more humor and aren’t quite so heavy.
Fatal Truth series by Abbie Roads ⇔ Slow Burn series by Maya Banks
Both of these don’t include shifters or vampires, but instead feature a bit of the mystical, psychic type of PNR. For the most part, these are set in the now, but a character or more has an unusual mental ability. These are great for someone who might not like full out paranormal.
I recognize some of the authors on this list but haven’t read any yet. I love “if you like this, read that” recommendations 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
That Abbie Roads series has been on my radar for ages. And I think I even have the first book on my Kindle. I really need to give it a try!
I’m currently working on the Psy-series, but that’s all I’ve read on your list so far. I have welcome to hell be Eve langlais waiting for me though!
