New from twenty-time USA Today bestseller Sarina Bowen!
How to behave when the guy who broke your heart two thousand miles away turns up in your office:
One: Don’t drop your lucky coffee cup in shock, even though it’s been ten years.
Two: Don’t get defensive when he asks how you ended up working his family’s ski mountain… and why you kept it a secret.
Three: Give him the worst room in the resort. He deserves it for suddenly waltzing back in like he owns the place. (Which he kind of does.)
Four, five, six, seven, eight and nine: Do not kiss him in the hot tub.
Ten: Try to keep your heart intact after you break all of your rules.
Because Reed is leaving again. Hate can't turn back into love. And it’s a little too late…
Bowen, Yarros, and Perry teamed up again and I am here for it! First up is Bowen’s A Little Too Late. Second chance romance, hate to love you blend in Ava and Reed’s story.
Their relationship didn’t end well the first time, and there is a lot of anger and hurt still there. You are slowing given pieces of what happened, and it really makes you care for Ava and Reed. When Reed returns to his family’s resort and find Ava is in charge, things do not go well. But, in true Bowen fashion, there are still some funny moments that really help keep the book from being way to angsty for me. You get a bit of workplace romance thrown in as well because Reed and Ava are trying to save the family business for Reed’s father, otherwise he will sell.
Also, I am ready for some snow, so this ski resort totally vibed with me! I don’t ski, but I would love to just sit in the resort surrounded by snow. It is the perfect setting for a romance, and Bowen did a fabulous job with A Little Too Late! Not too much angst, some humor, and the steam I love from her books!

other second chance romances like On One Condition by K. Bromberg, Until April by Aurora Rose Reynolds, Jailbait by Lani Lynn Vale…then you will probably like A Little Too Late!
Great review you have of this one here. I am glad that you were able to really enjoy this one. I have been hearing great things about it today. I think ski resort alone grabbed my attention the most. I am ready for snow. haha
I was so excited to see that that this trio was teaming up again for another trilogy! I loved Ava and Reed’s story and their second chance romance.
