Thirst Trap will repeatedly break your heart! Shayne’s story is just one tragedy after another. She is the definition of “can’t catch a break”. This makes her a wonderful heroine though because you want her to get all the good things!

Wanting all the good things for Shayne means I wanted some serious grovel from Quinn. Quinn caused so much of Shayne’s pain, and when it wasn’t his directly it was his “friend”. There are lots of heavy topics in the story, so if you have triggers, check the warnings. Shayne and Quinn’s story is full of the heartbreak for sure, but also mystery and danger that just doesn’t let up. This second chance love story spans years so you really see them both grow and change. You also get the whole Carter family, which I always love! Thirst Trap will cause you tears and anger, but it is a beautiful story nonetheless!
