The New Guy is so full of pining that I was about to die! I loved it so much! Hudson and Gavin have a million reasons not to be together, but their chemistry and connection is off the charts.
This story is the quintessential slow burn. Yearning so intense it melts the pages. These two have baggage and tons stacked against them, but the story builds on their chemistry. Hudson is the new player on the hockey team and Gavin is the training, so right there you get a bit of forbidden. Also, Hudson hasn’t told the team he is gay. But I just wanted these two to be together!
If you want an angsty story, I cannot recommend this enough. Seriously, I hate angst, but The New Guy was just too good!

WOW What a review. I have been seeing really positive things about this one here, even though the cover is turning me off lol But the story sounds AMAZING! Definitely plan on getting to it soon.
