You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet.
And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me...

Sci-Fi/Alien romance has become a thing lately. At first, I will admit I was VERY skeptical. Really? She falls in love with an alien?!? How does that even work…you know….? But, I have heard others say they enjoyed the campy Ruby Dixon books and I thought, “What the hell!”.

I never expected to enjoy a sci-fi/alien romance. The whole genre seemed weird to me. But I loved this! Its strange, quirky, funny, and hot! I seriously want to devour the rest of this series even as I am shaking my head at the oddity! But, I do love ‘fated mates’ and I guess aliens aren’t much stranger than were-animals. Thank you to whomever pushed me to give Ruby Dixon a try. I am now DYING to know who she really is (I know Ruby is a pen name) because I love her writing style.

So, overall, its strange for sure. And certainly not for everyone. Its a bit like Alexa Riley in the over the top insta-love and I like that. I think if you are looking for something different and are willing to be a bit open minded, this series will quickly become a guilty pleasure!

I’m not even sure what to compare this to!

  1. I discovered this author and this series in Dec and devoured books 1-6 buying one after the other. I’m very cautious when it comes to sci-fi alien romances and picking one up. You never know if it’s going to good, corny, or way to out their for you, but another blog I follow reviewed this series and author and I was intrigued. Glad you enjoyed and great review.

  2. I enjoyed this read more than I thought I would’ve when I first picked it up. When I had KU I tried to get as far into this series as I could but this author publishes these books so quickly that I would have to binge it all to catch up.
