Ice racing was the only thing on my radar. My goal? To return from a knee injury and make the Winter Olympic team.

My problem? Having to share my practice rink with up-and-coming hockey team, the Opal Springs Ghouls.

All they want is to turn professional and put the town on the hockey map.

Their problem? They don't want to share the ice with me either, and they don't mind letting me and everyone else know. Three of them in particular have made it their mission to make my life h*ll, by any means necessary.

Even if they break me.

Good luck with that, I won't be broken that easily, but fighting both them and my attraction to them might just shatter me forever.

**This is a RH/why choose hockey romance with darker themes and a hot pink boa.**

I realized the other day that I did not have enough hockey reverse harem in my life. The solution is Pucking Hearts Collide! The fun part is not only are the guys hockey players, but the heroine is an ice racer. They are all driven, focused, and competitive!

Cat is determined to rehab her bad knee and make the winter Olympics team. However, it isn’t easy to get ice time, and the local hockey team uses it for practice as well, because they are trying to make it to the pro hockey league. This leads to tension and irritation! Its a very natural hate to love kind of plot. Within that, they are all trying to achieve a dream. She has 3 guys and all of them are wonderful. Each character is developed and the guys don’t all kind of blend together. I always appreciate that in an RH read!

They go from hate to hot and it felt like it could have been built up a bit more. I would have liked to felt more tension and resistance to the pull. But, there are some spicy times and a bit of sword crossing (MM action). It isn’t a lot, so if you wanted a lot of that, you might be disappointed. Pucking Hearts Collide was a great read and I really enjoyed it overall. I’m excited to read more from Maggie Alabaster.

PS-it does say there are darker themes; Maybe I have been reading some real dark stuff and am becoming less sensitive, but I didn’t think it was dark. Read at your own risk though!
