This Week’s Book Haul:
Non-Bookish News:
Ok, I had an eventful week. I went on 3 different job interviews! I’m not necessarily unhappy at my current job, but there are some other opportunities out there worth exploring. Turns out, one of these other opportunities seems perfect. I would be doing the same job (special education) but at an all girls school. Being able to empower girls during their formative high school years is something I care deeply about and I am considering this opportunity! So, prayers for me while I make this decision. I tend to not like change, so I think staying at my current job has appeal because it’s safe and known.
We had a CRAZY weather week. Monday and Tuesday it was freezing-like highs in the low 50’s. By Friday, it was 85. Only in Ohio people! Bonus-its actually dried out a bit and my back yard isn’t a swamp so I’m feeling pretty good about that!
I have been gardening lately! I never garden. But, I got some marigolds 6 weeks ago and they are still alive!! Woohoo!!! Yesterday I got some citronella plants. I have some lavender I need to plant as well.
So, whats new with you this week? Did you read any of the same books I did? Did you find any great book deals I need to grab ASAP? Let me know in the comments!

I hope you’ll get the job at the all-girls school, Samantha! Even if you’re not a big fan of changes, some changes are truly amazing. And I’m sure you’d do a fantastic job with these girls 🙂
Your new books look fabulous, and I hope you’ll enjoy them all. I’m a little jealous you got your hands on Nalini Singh’s upcoming release already… I am waiting to hear back from the publisher.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.
Punk 57 is awesome!
Aww, I hope you get that job at the all-girls school!
that’s such a crazy weather. It’s been hot hot hot in PUERTO Rico. From 86 90’s but feeling like 98 to 100. It’s brutal!
Oooh I will cross my fingers for the new job Samantha! This is so great that you want to teach them girl their own worth. And good job on the gardening side!
Enjoy all of your books and the week ahead. Best of luck on your job hunt.
I am crossing my fingers for the all girls school. Change is sooooo hard but the feeling you get when you take that first step will be amazing! Sometimes we need change.
I’ve given up on our weather, it was freezing now it;s hot and next week is going to be up and down again. At least it’s also not raining. However it might today! *grumbles under breath*
I hope this week is great for you Samantha! Happy Reading!
Oh good luck with the job stuff!!! That weather is crazy. Yay for gardening. Have a great week!!
I don’t think any of us really like change, Samantha but this new job opportunity does sound good.
I hope you have a good week, in and out of the garden. 😉
