Office Mate is an over the top RomCom that really will have you laughing out loud. Just ask my husband who gave me strange looks as I did so. But, there is some real heart here, too.
Bri totally ghosted Ace. He was caught off guard because she really was everything to him. Now, she is back, working for him and his new partner in the Emory Games. The games, as always, are ridiculous and over the top for sure, but what else do you expect from Max Emory?! However, between the ridiculousness, Bri and Ace begin to mend what was broken and realize they were totally meant to be. Honestly, who are they to fight the alchemy (PS-that song is everything).
Office Mate is a quick, light read that checks all the romcom boxes. It is very short, and so it seems kind of rushed, but honestly, this is just a pure fun book. Dive in this weekend and enjoy! The Consequence of Loving Colton is skill one of my all time favorite reads and it introduces you to Max, so I am always gonna recommend that as well.
