Goodreads
Seventy shades of messed up.
That was what she’d been told about herself for nearly her entire life.
From a young age, she knew what it was like to be hated. To be loathed so much by a person that they literally resented the air you breathed.
For her entire childhood, she fought to live, despite her father’s constant effort to make her life a living hell.
Her sisters and brother have no clue what kind of closet psychopath their father really was, and she’ll die before she ruins their picture-perfect view of him.
Why? Because she’s already broken. There’s no fixing this kind of damaged. But there’s no reason everyone else needs to suffer, too.
From the moment Hannibal Peters laid eyes on Hades Singh, he knew she was the one.
That was why he ran. That was why, when he saw her suffering, he couldn’t stay away.
Listen, I’m gonna be honest. I straight up disliked Hades after the last book. She was just a horrible person and awful sister. There was a nugget of information dropped at the end of that book that Hades might be redeemed. I was hella skep.
Hannibal was a wonderful hero. Honestly, I was struggling because I felt Hades wasn’t good enough. But, there is more to Hades than we (or her family) saw and SLOWLY I started to thaw. Hannibal and his friends just accept Hades and support her. It was really interesting. I loved how supportive Hannibal was. He didn’t judge her (like I did) and their relationship was easy. It wasn’t what I was expecting, but it was a good balance for the heavy that is Hades.
The story has a lot of suspense too! Hades is determined to figure out who is stalking her sister and Hannibal is going to help her. Overall, Show Off was just a delightful surprise that reminds me, things aren’t always what they seem.

authors like Piper Rayne, Vanessa Vale, Max Monroe…then you will probably like Show Off!
I’ve really enjoyed some of this author’s other series, but this one just hasn’t called to me for some reason. But I might need to give it a try! Thanks for sharing. Glad to hear that Hades was able to be redeemed somewhat!
