Not a Gentleman is a second chance of sorts for Sage and Gentry. Gentry saved Sage from being raped by her “fiancee” and paid the price by going to prison. Turns out, Sage’s family and her arranged marriage partner are mixed up with the mob.

Its seven years later and Gentry, along with the other “dead” convicts, is in Sawtooth, MT. He knows that now that he is dead, Sage isn’t safe from being forced into an even more danger marriage, so he has Apollo arrange for her to leave her home and come to Montana. Obviously, these two have some issues to work out, and the story starts with some heartbreaking events. The major twist was not the one I was expecting, so that was great. I love when a book can really keep me on my toes. Sage and Gentry have a good relationship build up-both have baggage not related to their shared baggage that make things difficult. Not a Gentleman was a great story with heart and heartbreak!
